Microsoft Corporation Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer - Kusto in Multiple Locations, Israel

The team started as a small incubation 8 years ago and has already made a lot of buzz with Microsoft, offering a new solution for exploring and analyzing log data which is based on new disruptive technology. The list of customers for its solution, Azure Data Explorer, already includes thousands of customers and is constantly expanding.  

We are looking for strong and motivated Full Stack developers to help us continue driving the Kusto revolution and build the real time analytics workload in Microsoft Fabric on top of it. Microsoft Fabric is an all-in-one analytics solution designed for enterprises. It covers everything from data movement to data science, Real-Time Analytics, and business intelligence.  

With Microsoft Fabric, you don't need to piece together different services from multiple vendors. Instead, you can enjoy a highly integrated, end-to-end, and easy-to-use product that is designed to simplify your analytics needs.  

The platform is built on a foundation of Software as a Service (SaaS), which takes simplicity and integration to a whole new level. Microsoft Fabric brings together new and existing components from Power BI, Azure Data Explorer, and Azure Data Factory into a single integrated environment.  

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in the team, you will help us deliver highly scalable services and world-class product experiences.  You will have opportunities to work on multiple layers of the technology stack, ranging from customer-focused user experience work, building scalable distributed cloud services, working with big data, and everything in between. You will collaborate with team members and other engineering groups in Microsoft to build full stack web applications and services using the latest web technologies in a dynamic and agile environment. Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Python or Java.

  • 4+ years of web development with coding in languages including but not limited to React or Angular.

  • 3+ years of experience developing cloud-based large-scale distributed systems that operate with very high SLA. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Academic degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience working with Big Data systems (development or usage). 

  • Hands-on experience working with customers (internal teams or external groups). 

  • Ability to perform system analysis and drive performance, availability, and reliability improvements. 

  • Experience with React, Webpack/Vite, Playright, Typescript technologies.

  • Experience with multi-threading, synchronous and asynchronous programming.
