Nielsen Ad Intel Manager- UK in Mumbai, India

ABOUT THIS JOB

The Manager maintains full responsibility for all Classification Analysts and Team Leads within their team. Responsible for supervising the daily functions of a production department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day to day operations

  • Overall responsibility for meeting client deliverables

  • Overall responsibility for meeting quality standards

  • Overall responsibility for meeting productivity targets

  • Analyze quality and productivity reports to ensure targets are met

  • Liaise with the Quality Control and Reference Data Managers to ensure rules are being adhered to

  • Ensure documentation is kept up to date

  • Ensure IT issues are raised appropriately

  • Work with the Team Leads and Senior Analysts to ensure under performers are supported and brought up to acceptable levels

  • Ensure sickness levels are kept to a minimum and flag any issues to the Operations Director

  • Ensure annual leave is well planned to prevent low capacity issues

  • Attend regular meetings with the Operations Director and report quality, productivity and client deliverable KPIs

  • Hold regular meetings with all team members

  • Hold one to one meetings with individual team members

  • Help team members set personal goals to help them grow within their roles

  • Monitor and manage delivery schedules of multiple data sets and/or processes integral to Ad Intel UK deliveries.

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of Ad Intel operations; support business goals & objectives.

  • Manage capacity planning and oversight of workload for production teams.

  • Ensure Ad Intel data meets established thresholds for quality and delivery; responsible for schedule, control, and management of workflow in a production environment.

  • Coach and mentor direct reports, including team leads.

  • Cultivate and build a high-performing team.

  • Recommend personnel actions including hiring, termination, promotion, and merit increases.

  • Identify process areas to support continuous improvement; work with all relevant stakeholders (technology, operations, product leadership) to align on plan and impacts.

  • Recommend enhancements, and changes to software and applications to make processes more efficient and minimize data quality risks.

  • Liaise with other production teams as needed to ensure that deliveries are met.

  • Recommend guideline/process reviews based on analysis of data inputs and research reports.
