Our Technology Consulting team is Germany is looking for a solid Customer Engagement Manager who can drive customer relationships from early discussions partnering with our Consulting Sales team to the Programm management of the delivery of the projects.

What you will do:

As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, this senior-level Customer Engagement position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership with industry-wide impact. He/she will be responsible for guiding the customer as well as internal teams at Oracle to a successful customer adoption of our projects as well as implementation of integrated solutions based either on oracle cloud platform and/or on hybrid cloud/on premise architectures, ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer’s satisfaction.

Based on Oracle Technology Consulting mission and offering in technology area, typical assignments will include:

  • Migrating customer workloads from on-prem to Oracle Cloud, from infrastructure design to go-live – up to transforming the entire customer data center

  • Modernizing existing customer applications or infrastructures

  • Delivering modern analitics / data-driven solutions

  • Delivering enterprise-scale integrations between existing and new applications

  • Enforcing security through focused project initiatives

In the above context, Customer Engagement Manager will:

  • As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences decisions at the leadership level of customer organizations.

  • Together with our Sales teams, work closely with prospects and clients to understand their business objectives and develop a deep knowledge of client business to create the most appropriate solution to meet their needs

  • Establish and maintain actively internal and external relationships to key stakeholders

  • Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Manages the scope of medium to large-scale projects, and accounts with varying levels of complexity.

  • In bid phases, analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge.

  • Participate in development and work in a team environment with account managers to retain and grow accounts

  • Building up success stories with our customers and being up to date with current market trends

  • Reporting to the Technology Consulting Leader Germany and work closely with all Oracle lines of business

What You will Bring

  • Master degree or equivalent and/or at least 5+ years of Consulting experience in a Customer/Industry leadership position

  • Team player with strong interpersonal and collaborative competencies

  • Experience with business transformation, delivery and optimization

  • Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity

  • Personality and proper attitude to interact with C-level executives and ability to establish trustful relationships with senior stakeholders within target accounts

  • Cloud technology focus, and technical or industry domain expertise in one or more of the assignments listed above would be a great plus

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to inspire and engage future prospects or existing customers

  • Creative thinking, problem solving and willingness to develop

  • Understand the decision-making process and can influence key decision makers

  • Ability and flexibility to travel to client locations as needed

  • Role is based throughout Germany or Austria - fluent German and business English language skills are required
