Ford FMeT is building its capability of ADAS feature and module development. The goal of our ADAS organization will focus on local inhouse development including Algorithm, ADAS SW/HW, Sensors, System integration, new Feature, Map & localization, AI/ML, etc. As the ADAS driving feature owner, you will contribute to both local and global ADAS solutions. While working with core team for global solution implementation, you will also be responsible for local supplier investigation and benchmarking; developing in-house driving features from start to SOP.

• Program Feature delivery:

• Lead ADAS driving feature delivery to meet all function and performance requirements.

• Lead the implementation of FORD product development process / quality operation system and ensure the milestone deliverables completed on time with quality.

• Responsible for the robust design verification, production validation and engineering sign-off.

• Local feature development:

• Co-work with ADAS system/component engineer to evaluate and identify new suppliers to meet Ford cost, quality, weight and timing requirements, support developing and managing the ESOW (Engineering Statement of Work)

• Deliver feature models using MBD method.

• Develop new feature document/feature specifications/interface specifications to guide suppliers/interface ECUs on their system/SW development.

• Lead the feature validation using MIL/HIL/SIL and real-world test drives. Co-work with ADAS attribute team on performance target setting and validation.

• Launch, Quality and Cost

• Lead in resolving the issues down to the closure and manage design & engineering changes.

• Set priorities, plan, and execute projects to improve regional quality and make sure best practices are replicated in the regional plants.

• Support local cost attach activities by analyzing system impact and execute verification.

• Master in vehicle engineering, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related field.

• At least 3 year working experience in system/feature development. Development experience on ADAS features (e.g., AEB, ACC, LKA, etc.) a plus.

• Knowledge in ADAS system architecture, ADAS SW development and vehicle control algorithm/ interfaces (e.g., longitudinal, lateral control)

• Experience in feature design verification process and test planning/execution

• Familiar with function safety and cyber security

• Skill in MBD (MATLAB/Simulink/ dSpace toolkit) OR C++ programming and scripting languages (Python among others) a plus.

• Familiar with latest EE architecture and vehicle communication protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) and diagnostics.

• Experience in Quality/Reliability process including Design FMEA, Process FMEA, Control plan and 8D (or similar problem-solving methods)

• Inter-cultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels.

• Good English skills in writing, reading, listening, and speaking.
