Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team of automotive professionals. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. From minor dents to major collision damage, you will use your expertise to assess, repair, and refinish vehicles, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Perform body repairs, including straightening, welding, and panel replacement.
- Repair and replace damaged components, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
- Perform structural repairs and frame straightening.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Body Shop Technician.
- Proficiency in all aspects of automotive body repair and refinishing.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and materials.
- Ability to operate and maintain body shop equipment and tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- I-CAR or ASE certification is a plus.
