Description
Robert Half is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer Contractor to join our client's team on a contract basis! As a Business Intelligence Developer Contractor, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions to support our client's data-driven decision-making processes. This role requires expertise in data analysis, database management, and business intelligence tools to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth and efficiency!
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting requirements.
Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from multiple sources, transform it into usable formats, and load it into data warehouses or BI platforms.
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Write complex SQL queries and scripts to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Optimize database performance and implement data quality standards to ensure accuracy and reliability of BI solutions.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
Work closely with IT teams to integrate BI solutions with existing systems and applications.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions, addressing issues and resolving data-related problems.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, designing and implementing BI solutions in a corporate environment.
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or Talend.
Hands-on experience with BI reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Relevant certifications in business intelligence or data analytics are preferred.
