Want to experience new places? All | | while making money? | | Motor coach drivers transport passengers on chartered trips and | | sightseeing tours all across the country. Since | | these tours can last for days at a time, Motor coach drivers must be | | able to work flexible hours and be available for trips lasting | | extended periods of time. | | Schedule: | | | | - Variable Hours and weekend Work | | - Status: Full time, non-exempt. | | - Salary:Starting Rate: $15/hour + gratuity | | - Sign-On Bonus with CDL | | - Annual bonus | | | | Duties and Responsibilities: | | Motor coach drivers act as customer service representatives for Gray | | Line Tennessee. Interacting with passengers while ensuring their | | comfort is a key component of the job. Tour drivers may also be | | required to supply information about the area they are visiting. | | | | - Ensuring the safe operation of the motor coach | | - Ensuring the safety of all passengers | | - Loading and unloading luggage from the motor coach storage areas | | - Assisting guests as they embark and disembark the motor coach | | - Motor-coach drivers maintain current status of all qualifications | | for commercial driving according to company, local, state, and | | federal regulations. | | - Complete all necessary paperwork promptly and accurately | | according to company, state, and federal agencies. | | - Complete all training and testing as required by the company, | | state, and federal agencies. | | - Keep a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on | | duty; and while in uniform. | | - Drivers may be required to drive up to 10 hours a day and/or a | | combination of driving and on-duty not to exceed 15 hours except | | where off-duty options apply in a 24 period as stated in the | | FMCSRS. | | - Motor coach drivers also handle maintenance checks and proper | | upkeep on the vehicle while on the road, which include DVIR. | | | | Education, Skill, and Abilities: | | | | - High school diploma or equivalent required | | - CDL with a passenger endorsement preferred (CDL Training Class | | available) | | - must pa s background check and drug test | | - Ability to adapt to stressful situations | | - Must be able to board and exit the bus and assist guests boarding | | and exiting the bus. | | - Shall be able to work week days and weekends | | - Shall be able to read, write and speak fluent English in order to | | communicate with coworkers, the general public, law enforcement, | | and emergency personnel. | | - Ability to sit for long periods of time, climb stairs multiple | | times each day, and tolerate a wide range of temperatures and | | weather conditions. | | - Exceptional customer service skills. | | | | Additional Information: | | Every employee at Gray Line Tennessee has a stake in the safety of | | our clients, customers, and employees. | | Gray Line Tennessee offers benefits which reflect our commitment to | | attracting and retaining the best employees.
