Key Functions and Expected Performance:

• Guide strategic direction and leadership for the project management function within the People, Culture and Belonging Division

• Oversee the selection, prioritization, and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities

• Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of more complex projects

• Define and implement project management methodologies, processes, and best practices to ensure consistent and effective project delivery

• Develop and maintains relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle

• Monitor project budgets, resources, and timelines, and take proactive measures to address any issues or risks that may arise

• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on project status, progress, and outcomes

• Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the project management team

• Champion measurable continuous improvement by optimizing people, processes, and technology, including AI, to democratize access and opportunity to learning,

development, and growth opportunities across the organization.

• Additionally, undertake any other responsibilities as needed

Supervisory Relationships:

This position supervises the project management team; this position reports administratively and functionally to the Chief of Staff.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required

• PMP Certification is required

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience is required

• Experience using project management tools (e.g. Monday) is required

• Thorough knowledge of project management processes (e.g. PMP Certification) is required

• Experience managing different types of projects and knowledgeable in project management methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.) is required

• Strong technical management and understanding is required

• 7 years of project management experience is preferred
