Aston Carter Financial Analyst in Nashville, Tennessee

Description:

Seeking a Financial Analyst for our Nashville, TN location. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, intuitive problem-solving skills and the drive to meet our evolving organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provides business planning and forecasting administration/analysis.

• Analysis of monthly and annual financial results.

• Conduct analyses as requested by management.

• Interacts internally with Corporate and Operations personnel and externally with consultants and accounting professionals.

• Administrator of our planning system, IBM Planning Analytics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred.

• Minimum (3-5) years total experience required

• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications. Advanced Excel skills, database and strong presentation skills. Experience working with IBM Planning Analytics, Oracle experience preferred

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, works well under pressure, and meets deadlines.

• Firm understanding of financial statements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience

• Effective communication skills: written and inter-personal

• Technical expertise in Microsoft Office suites (especially Excel)

• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership

• Effective organizational skills to manage a dynamic workload

• Business analytics/data mining experience preferred

• Provide a high – level of customer service and support to our Strategic Market Areas
