Description :

The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for development and maintenance of budget and forecast models and consolidation of brand, office, and department budgets and forecasts for quarterly and annual presentation. This position extracts and analyzes financial data and prepares financial performance insights for presentation to executive and brand leaders.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Extract, organize, and present financial data to support the annual budget and periodic forecasting process in an accurate and timely manner

  • Build and maintain annual budget models, periodic forecast models based on recent trends and expectations, and predictive models that assess the viability of new initiatives or projects under consideration against the existing budget or forecast

  • Compile and analyze financial reports and operational metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and discrepancies that require management attention

  • Develop variance analysis reporting to assist executive, brand, office, and department leaders in evaluating revenue and expense performance compared to budget and forecast expectations

  • Prepare financial performance insights for distribution to executive and brand leaders

  • Support periodic reviews of results with brand, office, and department heads to improve the accuracy of forecasts

  • Identify and drive process improvements, efficiencies, and accuracies in financial reporting capabilities, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and models in Microsoft Excel and Adaptive Financial Planning software

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required

  • Minimum 3 years' finance experience required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel required

  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation required

  • Adaptive Financial Planning and NetSuite preferred

Location: In office.

Hybrid/Remote option may be considered with Management approval.

Travel Requirements:

Less than 5% (almost no travel)

Frequent: Sitting, walking, eye/hand/foot coordination and repetitive motion.

Occasional: Standing and bending.

Infrequent: Lifting up to 10 pounds.
