Position Summary/Description:
The Data Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive data management for two projects focused on maternal and child health in sub-Saharan Africa. The Data Manager will work with site teams to develop and manage study databases, conduct weekly QA/QC activities, oversee implementation of data management plan, and maintain data integrity and confidentiality throughout the study duration.
Education and Experience:
Excellent interpersonal experience and writing skills.
Essential Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Public Health, Biostatistics, Data Science).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management within clinical research.
Experience with REDCap and ODK database development and management.
Familiarity with clinical trial regulatory requirements and GCP guidelines.
Skills:
Proficiency in data management software and tools ( SAS , R, and/or Python)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
