Aerotek Machine Operator in Neenah, Wisconsin
Job Description
Operators are responsible for ensuring efficient and safe machine operation, producing high-quality products, and finishing product packaging. They inspect equipment, perform preventative maintenance, complete paperwork and data entry, assist in the packaging area, and cross-train on other machine operation duties. The role involves regular communication with other operators, quality techs, and the area supervisor to ensure smooth operation.
Responsibilities
Operate state-of-the-art equipment that processes and packages beverages in both cans and bottles.
Work with others to produce quality products that meet customer needs.
Troubleshoot equipment and collaborate with others to eliminate inefficiencies in the manufacturing process.
Change over and adjust equipment between production runs.
Accurately create and consume inventory in an inventory management system.
Operate a forklift or pallet jack to move pallets of raw material.
Sanitize the plant and equipment.
Assist with performing quality checks on the products.
Keep the area clean and organized.
Attend production meetings.
Complete necessary paperwork.
Troubleshoot and communicate issues that occur with the process or equipment.
Utilize computer skills to work in the ERP system and other necessary programs.
Assist in other parts of the facility as needed.
Follow food safety and regulatory policies and procedures, execute responsibilities as identified in standard operating procedures, and report food safety/regulatory concerns to the Production or Quality Manager.
Essential Skills
2+ years of machine operating experience in a production environment
Ability to frequently lift up to 60lbs
Prior food production experience preferred but not required
Experience in general labor, mixing, production, food handling, batching, calipers, assembly, inspection, and hand and power tools
Forklift operation
Computer skills and basic programming knowledge

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47236.00 - $47236.00
Attendance Incentive: $3/hr increase
Eligibility Requirements:
*30 days of employment
*On time to start and punching in from breaks
*Does not leave early or call in
**This is per pay period. If they are sick for a day, they will not receive the additional $3 for that pay period, but will be eligible on the next pay period.
**Approved PTO does not make them lose eligibility.
