Responsibilities
Prepare and set up CNC Swiss-style lathes for production runs.
Create and modify CNC programs using G-code and other programming languages.
Interpret engineering blueprints and specifications to develop machining processes.
Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure components meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Identify and troubleshoot issues with the CNC machine, tools, or programs.
Make adjustments to maintain proper machine performance and part quality.
