Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Senior Tax Analyst, International Tax Advocacy and Planning . In this role, the candidate will primarily be responsible for supporting Pillar Two compliance and reporting processes and Country-by-Country (CbCR) reporting and compliance obligations. The candidate’s work location may be based in New Brunswick, NJ or Beerse, Belgium. The position will incorporate the J&J Flex Hybrid Work Model which requires 3 days a week on site and may require up to 10% travel (Domestic/International). This position directly reports to the Director of International Tax Advocacy and Planning and will collaborate closely with a variety of groups including the Country Tax Centers, Tax and Reporting Groups, Sector Tax Planning, Tax Technology and the Corporate Controllers Group.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support various workstreams related to Country-by-Country Reporting (“CbCR”) reporting and compliance obligations

  • Support communication, guidance and training activities for Pillar Two compliance and reporting with assistance from Managers

  • Prepare Pillar Two provision templates

  • Support data fit gap analysis for Pillar Two provision and compliance

  • Assist with preparation of GloBE Information Return and coordination of Pillar Two Local Compliance

  • Support implementation of Pillar Two Compliance Software for the GloBE Information Return and Local Compliance

  • Assist with operationalization of Pillar Two provision model

  • Work with various teams on Procedures, Controls and SOP updates

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned and support various ad hoc planning and special project work.

  • The successful candidate must be a self-directed individual able to exercise a high level of independent judgment, execute activities in a highly complex environment, and possess strong communication, business partnering and people management skills. This role deploys best practices, manages risks, and remains current with industry international tax planning developments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of tax experience working in a Big 4 Accounting Firm and/or a large multinational organization

  • Knowledge of international tax concepts with experience in tax compliance and reporting

  • Strong analytical abilities (data, fact patterns, external tax/legal frameworks)

  • General understanding of income tax accounting principles

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong communication and business partnering skills

  • Ability to execute innovative solutions to meet business needs and to manage risk in a quickly changing external environment.

  • People management experience preferred

  • OneSource and Corptax experience preferred

  • ERP experience preferred

The base pay range for this position is $73,000 to $117,300

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
