The Assembler will perform assembly, testing, and packaging of sub-assemblies and finished products in a cleanroom environment according to approved method sheets.
Pay: 18-20/hr
Schedule: 7-3:30pm
Type: Contract to hire
Responsibilities:
Work individually and as part of a team to hand fabricate sub-assemblies and finished products.
Build intricate assemblies following approved method sheets.
Conduct mechanical and electrical testing on completed sub-assemblies and finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications.
Maintain compliance with cleanroom environment standards.
Maintain a clean work environment and assist in daily housekeeping as required.
Wear appropriate clothing for the work cell, which may include mandatory uniforms and/or cleanroom garments.
Follow direction from leaders or supervisors.
Perform additional duties or assignments as required by management.
Requirements:
Experience in hand assembly on an assembly line.
Ability to assemble small parts under a microscope/magnification.
Soldering experience is a plus.
Medical device assembly experience is a plus.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Knowledge of factory assembly procedures.
Working knowledge of hand tools.
Highly accurate and attentive to detail.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to read and understand written procedures in English.
