Residential Program Manager – DDS Funded Program

Locati on: Danbury and New Milford, CT

Salary: $60,000 per year

Schedule: Monday - Friday

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Residential Program Manager to join our t eam in Danbury and New Milford.

Position Overview:

As the Residential Program Manager, you will oversee the direct care staff within our condo-style apartments, ensuring the highest quality of care and support for our individuals . You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations, stepping in when needed, and ensuring effective communication with vendors, employe rs, appointments, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support direct care staff in delivering quality care to residents.

  • Assist residents with daily living activities and ensure their well-being.

  • Facilitate communication with vendors, employers, and appointments.

  • Maintain strong communication with residents' families and ensure their involvement.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Step in as needed to provide direct care and support to residents.

  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Experience in direct care or human services, preferably with individuals with mental health needs.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Patience, flexibility, and a willingness to be hands-on.

  • Ability to effectively manage and support a diverse team.
