Job Title: General Laborer Roofer
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified General Laborer Roofer to join our team. Your main responsibilities will include inspecting problem roofs to determine the best repair methods, measuring roofs to calculate material quantities, replacing damaged or rotting joists or plywood, and removing existing roof systems. Furthermore, you will install vapor barriers or insulation layers, ensure roof ventilation, and apply shingles, asphalt, metal, or other materials to weatherproof the roof. Your job will also entail aligning roofing materials with roof edges, cutting materials to fit around walls or vents, and covering exposed nail or screw heads with roofing cement or caulk to prevent leakage.
