You’ll have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to influence the biggest players in online grocery and build the data foundation driving one of the world leaders in consumer-packaged goods.In this role you will have several distinct responsibilities and priorities:* Scaling the Data Platform to 700+ pipelines across AWS and Azure* Collaborate on cross-team Data Platform initiatives, like Data Mesh and support international expansion* Build tools and libraries that ease new pipeline development and reduce delivery time* Work towards increasing the robustness and fault tolerance on platform processing large amount of data* Implement best practices and design patterns for different data solutions.* Build mechanisms to implement metrics that measure data quality and reliability* Define tools and techniques to improve overall data observability and discoverability* Bring innovative thinking to solve day-to-day problems faced by data teams.Compensation and Benefits:* The expected compensation range for this position is between $84,000 - $170,800 based on a full-time schedule.* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.* A business development incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience* 3+ years of experience designing and implementing data intensive systems and applications* 3+ years of experience creating scalable dimensional data models* 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining data pipelines using Airflow, dbt, etc* 2+ years of experience using Snowflake* Expert level knowledge of SQL* Expert level knowledge of Python* Experience with designing and implementing processes to measure and improve data quality* Experience designing, building and maintaining data processing systems* Working knowledge of how large-scale data is typically used in Machine Learning and Business Intelligence initiativesEEO StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
