We are looking for a talented visual designer who wants to be a key contributor to the launch of an exciting new shopping experience. In this role, you will generate industry-leading brand and design experiences to drive traffic, awareness, and engagement.

The ideal candidate has a strong visual design background with a passion for and knowledge of contemporary fashion retail, along with the proven ability to motivate through vision and a desire to inspire and collaborate with a passionate team. As a visual designer, you possess strong organizational skills, web expertise, intrinsic design ability, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail. You will play a significant role in engaging customers and creating a best-in-class customer experience via digital store design and digital marketing initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

• Work from creative briefs alongside key stakeholders to develop executions for digital marketing activities.

• Create best-in-class layouts and visuals that support and reinforce business objectives while partnering with business/marketing teams to ensure that designs meet brand and business needs.

• Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging design trends and digital innovations into creative and marketing strategies.

• Present concepts and produced work to stakeholders and internal customers, including senior management.

• Quickly turn around detailed comps/mockups in an iterative environment.

• Understand and respond to performance data (metric tests, usability studies), and steer the direction of future creative designs.

• Work cross-team, lead the design process, and synthesize feedback and input from stakeholders.

Basic qualifications:

• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong visual communication, a deep understanding of typography, color, print, and digital executions, and great user-centered design solutions.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in visual design.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed as needed.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Highly proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite, and related design and production software.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as visual communications or graphic design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Excellent concept and creative development skills.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Design experience for a contemporary fashion or brand-driven retail business.

• Effective cross-team collaborator with the ability to work across multiple creative projects.

• Expert understanding of the web production process; familiarity with post-production retouching and a working knowledge of the printing process.

• Motion and/or animation experience.

• Experience in designing motion graphics or video editing.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $69,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $148,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
