Description We are offering a job opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in New York, New York, United States. This role is within the telecom provider industry and will be based onsite with hybrid flexibility. The employment type for this role is a short term contract.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with payroll processing twice a month, including reviewing timecards and changes.
• Undertake light bookkeeping tasks in Accounts Payable (AP).
• Submit invoices and file statements.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy in data entry.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Work with Oracle and QuickBooks for financial management.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks including billing and invoice processing.
• Utilize SAP for enterprise resource planning.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in Billing procedures
• Data Entry skills are essential
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Oracle financial software
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Experience with SAP financial software
