Description
A rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company is currently seeking an Assistant Controller to join its talented team. This is a great opportunity to join a well-integrated group, with plenty of exposure to upper-management operations.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
Preparing financial statements and forecasting reports
Managing financial database system to ensure accurate data entry
Supervising daily accounting operational functions
Assisting with cash flow forecasting and budgeting
Overseeing quarterly and year-end closings
Regularly providing updates to Controller
Assisting with tax compliance and tax filing preparation
Handling ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 4 years of previous experience, with a start-up background. QuickBooks experience highly preferred. This exciting opportunity will be filled by an analytical thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in fast paced environments.
