The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, the Associate Director of Product Marketing will manage and implement Business-to-Consumer (B2C) marketing campaigns for a portfolio of open programs and general marketing initiatives within Columbia Business School Executive Education (CBSEE). This individual will also oversee our social media platforms to raise brand awareness through content creation, daily maintenance, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain all marketing assets, lead generation, and lead nurturing campaigns to support a portfolio of Open Enrollment (OE) Programs.
  • Oversee the production and maintenance of content across various mediums, including print and digital assets (e.g., website, collateral), to ensure consistency and increase brand awareness.
  • Drive content production through interviews, articles, videos, and photos, working closely with the Senior Associate Director of Digital Marketing on SEO/SEM.
  • Collaborate with teams within Executive Education to develop and implement strategic campaigns to meet pipeline goals, grow engagement, and establish relationships with senior business decision-makers (HR, L&D, and senior executives), aligned with sales priorities.
  • Work closely with the Learning Solutions team to build strong marketing campaigns.
  • Launch new initiatives and channels to unlock new growth for the business. Regularly measure channel performance and report on how marketing drives key metrics.
  • Manage internal and external resources (faculty, agencies, photographers, videographers, copywriters, etc.) to develop and deliver content.
  • Manage the Executive Education social media channels, sourcing daily content by collaborating with faculty, the program management team, and the sales team to build a strong calendar and increase the visibility and brand awareness of CBSEE.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Analyst to track and report on the impact of our organic social media activities.
  • Support the Director of Product Marketing on ad hoc marketing projects to assist the Executive Education team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.
  • The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented with an ability to work independently.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish professional working relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues, external partners, clients, delegates, and vendors.
  • The ideal candidate anticipates opportunities and challenges, identifies and implements creative solutions, and works well under deadlines and pressure.
  • Must have the ability to project manage multiple competing priorities at once.
  • Fluency in MS Office suite and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies (i.e., CRM/ databases and internet publishing tools).
  • Must be skilled in copywriting and copyediting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in professional services or luxury sectors and knowledge of the higher education market.
