Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our team in New York, New York. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and generating invoices, among other duties. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are crucial.
Responsibilities:
• Process and generate service invoices
• Monitor and manage accounts receivables and payables
• Regularly coordinate payments to multiple vendors
• Contact clients to collect payments on open invoices
• Keep all accounting and bookkeeping records organized and up-to-date
• Perform administrative and clerical support tasks as needed
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar finance position
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping practices
• Demonstrated ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
