Business Applications Consultant Manager, Government CMS

About the Role:

In this opportunity as a Business Applications Consultant Manager, you will:

  • Take the lead in managing a team of Business Applications Consultants.
  • Find innovative ways to reduce implementation time/cost by standardizing team processes and best practices.
  • Conduct configuration review sessions across teams to ensure optimal implementation of product features to best meet client requirements.
  • Serve as the lead C-Track product and solutions expert for both the client and TRCMS advocating a product first approach.
  • Lead a team of Business Applications Consultants in requirements gathering and business analysis through techniques such as: Review current system documentation, map business requirements to functional specifications, business process modeling, data gathering etc.
  • Organize and analyze materials such as design and test specifications, design documents, and other scoping material.
  • Complete tasks with input from Engagement Manager. Work is project-oriented and day to day tasks must be defined by employee and engagement manager.
  • Support the development of customer specific test plans in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team to test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software.
  • Lead or support data analysis and mapping activities from one system to another.
  • Travel as required to support project activities, training, and go-live.

About You:

You're a fit for the role of Business Applications Consultant Manager if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
  • 7+ years or relevant work experience required
  • A passion for learning and mastering complex system functionality and techniques quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • The ability to flexibly adapt to a changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to comfortably and confidently present to groups.
  • Must have the ability to communicate complex information in a concise, logical manner.
  • Highly organized and computer literate with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have an excellent ability to reach out and build relationships across teams in a remote working environment.
  • Experience with or understanding of judicial/court process a plus.
  • Breadth and depth in software engineering.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts and to facilitate consensus.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $112,400 - $208,800. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $102,200 - $189,800. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: KS, MI, MN, NY, VA.The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $97,100 - $180,300. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
