Citigroup Business Risk Senior Manager in New York, New York

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Business Risk Senior Manager for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Develop an end-to-end counterparty risk platform and risk management framework for cash equities. Develop and utilize risk management tools for the measurement, monitoring, and management of exposure across Futures and Derivatives Clearing, FX Prime Brokerage and Equity Derivatives. Build reporting to manage in-business counterparty credit risk including risk models/tools, risk reporting, and escalation/governance model. Analyze the control environment including periodic review of key controls, vetting of new systems, processes, policies, and procedures associated with and related to market and credit risk and ensure they are in line with market practices. Monitor cash equity client execution to ensure risks are controlled. Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. Responsible for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Monitor overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the Finance and/or Financial Services industry. Two (2) years of experience must include: Performing enterprise risk management for framework components including governance, risk assessment, internal / external loss collection, key risk indicators assessment, scenario analysis, and peer benchmarking which utilizes reading and writing code in various programming languages including Python to synthesize large datasets used for risk management purposes; Driving the development of processing documentation, mapping and redesign, business requirements documentation, root-cause analysis, and organizational redesign; Developing enterprise risk systems design, business requirements, implementation, and end user testing; Utilizing MS Excel to provide risk analysis and develop models; and Project or Risk Management experience in financial services with knowledge of FX derivatives, Commodity products, OTC, and Equities. 40 hrs./wk.
