Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Ceded Senior Reinsurance Accountant for one of our top reinsurance clients in NYC. This is a full-time opportunity on a hybrid, on-site basis located in the financial district of Manhattan.
The ideal candidate has a strong working knowledge of ceded reinsurance. In this position, main responsibilities include but are not limited to: quarterly variance analyses of significant treaties, cash application of receipts and payments, preparation of ceded treaty accounts statements and BDX, prepare cash disbursements for assigned brokers, assist in preparation of Ceded Schedule F Quarterly financial reporting and account reconciliations from subledger to GL, monitoring missing accounts and aged balances and collaboration with the underwriting team as necessary.

Skills and Requirements
· 3+ years of ceded reinsurance experience with a focus in property and casualty lines
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent training
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills
· Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
Intermediate Excel skills and general proficiency in MS Applications 5+ years of ceded reinsurance experience null
