Act as the main point of contact for compensation requests by providing day-to-day support for data and other requests, such as supporting new roles and employee changes by ensuring updated compensation data is readily available
Provide overall support to the daily operations of the benefits program
Conduct new-employee orientation presentations
Work with the Director of Compensation and Benefits to support the annual performance review process, including market data analysis, cost-modeling, analytics, reporting, auditing, etc.
Create documentation for compensation and benefit administration processes and procedures
Support the Cayuga Centers Payroll team by keeping up-to-date records on minimum wage increases and providing wage analysis for new and existing roles, as needed.
Review, audit, and submit purchase requisitions to the Finance department to ensure benefit-related ensuring invoices are paid accurately and on time
Comprehensively understand all benefit plans and provide outreach and customer service to employees
Collaborate with the Deputy for Human Resources to design and facilitate workshops on compensation, benefits, wellness leave management, and other HR initiatives ensures the HR department educates and informs agency leadership and staff.
Be familiar with compliance with applicable government regulations, including but not limited to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), related IRS regulations, and all other related federal legislation, while ensuring timeliness and accuracy of required reporting
Be responsible for complying with rules and regulations governing access to Protected Health Information under HIPAA. Access protected Health Information is limited to the extent required to perform responsibilities herein, dictate the level of access, use, and disclosure of confidential information
Perform other duties as requested
Regular hours entail 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
Must be flexible to meet program needs
Travel as needed to assigned programs
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two to three years experience in working within a Human Resources Department
Working knowledge of Federal laws for non-exempt and exempt employees
Experience providing Human Resources support for not-for-profit agencies - preferred.
Demonstrated track record in developing and maintaining systems required
Highly skilled in MS Office, and Google Suite and working knowledge of web-based HRIS or equivalent systems is required
Ability to travel to all agency locations as required
Valid Driver’s License - preferred
120 hours of vacation time; 12 Sick Days per year
