Job Overview:

The Content Operations Manager will handle day to day management of the team which includes: managing escalated issues as they arise, tracking of the WEBC Jira Project Queue, regular communication with associates and continued facilitation of issue resolution and Embargo process throughout the department.

The Content Operations Manager will also be responsible for first level management of the BA – Web Content project, ensuring that all tickets receive appropriate first level details, assignee, component & sub-component. The user will be responsible for ensuring that all tickets are moved to the initial discovery status.

Finally, the Content Operations Manager having insight into our customer facing website will also be responsible to be the content support liaison with B&H Product, UX, and Operations. Those responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues occurring on our production website, writing up tickets, attending meetings with all relevant stakeholders, and sending out weekly migration emails.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Handles day to day management operations of Content Operations Coordinator & Content Operations Associates.

  • Handles all escalations as they arise, or by request.

  • Administers the current WEBC JIRA Project, maintaining all dashboards, and builds out relevant policies.

  • Ad-hoc reporting for Content Operations stakeholders out of JIRA.

  • Facilitates regular communication between Content Operations Associates and Stakeholders.

  • Manages request submissions form for Marketing Page requests through B&H Intranet.

  • Responsible for Maintaining Manufacturer Directory on the B&H Customer Website.

  • Facilitates sprints for all Content Operations Associates and affiliated assistants.

  • Assists all managers with policy, and procedural information, relating to Web Content Departments.

  • Responsible for training all incoming Content Operations Associates on internal procedures.

  • Responsible to create schedule for internal vendor trainings, inform web content, and onboard all new users into the training platform.

  • Responsible for managing the initial assignment of the BA-Web Content Project.

  • Liaison for the B&H Product, UX and Ops teams.

  • Responsible for writing up outbound tickets to the BHP, BHUX, and BHJ Projects.

  • Responsible for troubleshooting customer facing website issues.

  • Responsible for sending out weekly website migration emails to relevant stakeholders.

  • Facilitates Ad-hoc projects as requested.

  • Additionally, all responsibilities of Content Operations Coordinator.

    Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

  • Well versed in B&H/e-commerce Web Content Policies

  • Familiarity with external department policies within B&H

  • Familiarity with Fullstory, or other customer experience software

  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Proficiency in UNIX or other Text entry interface software

  • Proficiency in Jira or other project Management Software

  • Proficiency interacting with DES/another CMS platform

  • Proficiency in BazzarVoice Management Portal

  • Proficiency in Jira Query Language (JQL)

  • Project management experiences or knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the B&H Ecosystem

  • Strong understanding of the B&H Customer Experience, and Website

  • Minimum 4 Year Webdesk Experience or helpdesk/related operations coordinator position

  • Bachelor of Management or Equivalent Degree, Preferred.
