Overview
Substations Operations Protective Systems Testing in Staten Island is looking for Electrical Technicians (to will perform testing, troubleshooting and repairs on protective relays and systems, substation equipment, control systems and telephone lines in substations and other field locations.Responsibilities
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience- Associate's Degree Electrical Technology or related field of study and 2 years of experience Strong knowledge of basic AC and DC electrical power theory and circuit analysis, including three phase AC power systems, as well as a strong working knowledge of mathematics and the ability to perform calculations involving basic trigonometry and vector analysis. Candidates must have knowledge and experience with computer systems and must be able to use these to perform automated testing, as well as prepare spreadsheets and technical reports

- 2 years Military academic programs including Nuclear Electronics Technician, Nuclear Electrician, and Aviation Electronics Technician Preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Driver's License Required
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
