Job Title: Inventory Operations Analyst

Schedule: Monday - Friday (HYBRID)

  • Work from home - Mondays and Fridays

Description:

Seeking an Inventory Operations Analyst to join the Business Operations team within the larger Supply Chain and Logistics function. In this role you will manage performance against our Inventory related KPIs, performing root cause analysis when issues arise. Using transactional data, you will recommend and participate in initiatives that reduce cost, eliminate waste, & improve our processes. Operating as an inventory transaction subject matter expert, you play a meaningful role in the day-to-day activity to make the supply chain a strategic advantage for the company as we continue to grow our global footprint.

Responsibilities:

  • Aid the execution of inventory transactions related to inventory physical movement and the flow of goods.

  • Input data for inventory functions and supply chain systems and integration flows (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), AWS Vendor Central, Warehouse Management System, E2Open, etc.)

  • Responsible for systematic transaction completeness, accuracy, and punctuality (Sales Order Fulfillment, Transfer Order Receipts, Transfer Order Fulfillments, Return - Merchandise Authorization Receipts, etc.) for assigned 3PL & owned warehouses.

  • Develop and implement new processes to increase inventory transaction accuracy and simplify warehouse or systemic workflows.

  • Continuously improve and develop internal and external Standard Operating Procedures working with cross-functional teams, train employees when necessary in inventory & transactional control processes, and operate as a point of escalation when required.

  • Report and monitor weekly metrics for inventory transaction accuracy and process non-compliance; Drive Performance against KPIs for the warehouse network.

  • Track performance against Operational metrics and work with partner teams to improve accuracy and efficiency

  • Capture and Analyze Inventory and Transactional Variances across the company network - developing and leading a root cause analysis process to ensure trouble areas are supervised and eliminated

  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures and SOPs as defined by the Inventory Control and Internal Audit teams

  • Be available to assist with ad-hoc reconciliations, semi-annual reconciliation, and year-end physical inventory audits at warehouses

  • Take on project roles related to the Peloton systems, integrations, and operations needs

  • Co-lead projects implementing new supply chain processes and associated management metrics working alongside internal business partners, IT project managers, and 3PL partners.

  • Identify strategic and operational issues both internally and externally, develop proposals, outline and implement solutions

  • Working with the team to support & maintain the master data information for the international market

  • Documenting system processes & business requirements to keep the SOP database up to date

Must Have:

  • Solid grasp of end-to-end supply chain concepts and financial competence

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence internal and external customers to get results

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP), SAP, AMS vendor central, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Order Management/Planning - Systems (E2Open) is a plus Experience using reporting and productivity tools to provide insights

  • Demonstrated ability in documenting processes & business requirements in a logical and structured manner

  • Consistent record of successfully deploying supply chain processes and developing effective change management plans
