Work directly with solution architects, cross-functional stakeholders, and development team members to define, design, and deliver technical solutions that will support the business’s vision, strategy, and goals. Support the objectives aligned with the Group Platform Transformation Program, implementing absence functionality across multiple work streams. Gather and analyze data and develop requirements at project level. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Develop complex solutions in an Agile environment as part of a global team of engineers, designers, and product experts. Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Conduct and lead technical design discussions across multiple technology disciplines to propose viable solutions to complex problems. Liaise between software engineering teams and production support to facilitate operational readiness. Provide level 3 support for escalated issues/defects. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Assist onshore and off-shore teams with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/or programming knowledge. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Lead Software Engineer-related occupation.
