Overview

Manage and deliver a variety of student services, including registration/advisement, and, graduation tracking, admissions, and recruitment. Oversee course management. Coordinate high school pipeline programs. Be an expert in curricula and programs and assist in the development of curriculum and programs. Assist Department Chair and Administrative Director with administration of department operations and community building. Supervise staff and assume other departmental responsibilities during absence of Administrative Director. Develop and implement events and awards, including alumni activities.

Responsibilities

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree Higher Ed, Counseling, or related field

Required Experience:
3+ years experience in academic administration or student services, student advisement, developing events, and supervising staff.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years Prior experience in an arts or academic environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent written, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including advising students and resolving problems. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Student Information System (SIS).


Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $69,264.00 to USD $84,656.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
