SG Americas Operational Services, LLC Quality Assurance Analyst in New York, New York

Provide departments with Information System support, providing and managing high quality and competitive tools while respecting technology and cost standards; Participate in the support of Equity Derivatives systems in across the America's region; Responsible for testing the Electronic Market Making (EMM) trading platforms verifying core functionality, data accuracy, performance, and STP; Bring expertise (technical and functional) of Equity Derivatives systems, in order to develop other team members across the region and provide assistance to Front Office users (Traders, Sales, Risk Managers, and Middle Offices); Actively monitor the systems and document procedures and processes, developing new monitoring tools as required and tracking issues found throughout QA lifecycle; Participate in the Testing and Roll-out of Trading applications (new versions and software updates); Propose solutions and drive changes that address recurring problems and workloads; Build a test repository and document all test cases, documenting test progress/incident tracking and creating automated test cases where possible; Perform functional, integration, and performance testing of trading applications; Setup and maintain test environment and configuration files to perform integration testing; Perform testing efforts with various groups including development, support, and business; Write test scenarios and test scripts based upon understanding of systems, product specification documents, and business user interactions to perform integration testing, regression testing, new functionality and stress/performance conditions; Responsible for the execution of test cases and execution suites; and Interface with business clients (front office, middle office) to comprehend and document business requirements and their priority as well as develop technical or user process solutions. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days/week. When not telecommuting, must report to SG Americas Operational Services, LLC at 245 Park Ave, New York 10167. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Quantitative Finance or related field, plus 2 years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, Business Analyst, Quantitative Analyst, IT Consultant, or any related occupation/position/job title involving quality assurance.Must also have the following special skills: 2 years of professional experience working with market structures, market regulation and market trading protocols across various asset classes (including equities, derivatives, and fixed income); 2 years of professional experience performing Quality Assurance using testing trading platforms and testing tools and automation; 2 years of professional experience developing technical/user process solutions and interfacing with business clients (including front office and middle office) to comprehend and document business requirements and priorities; 2 years of professional experience interfacing with teams of developers using SDLC approaches including accent on Agile methods; 2 years of professional experience utilizing Client/Server Electronic Trading applications; 2 years of professional experience with FIX & Binary Connectivity; 2 years of professional experience in UNIX, LINUX and Windows; 2 years of professional experience working in trading and brokerage operations (front to back); and 2 years of professional experience working with Python.

Minimum Salary: 77,813 Maximum Salary: 160,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
