Details are as shown below:JOB TITLE: Senior Accounting Analyst [SAAKW624]WORKSITE: 175 Greenwich St., 57th Floor, New York, NY 10007* Telecommuting allowed within the U.S.WAGE: $137,114 annuallyJOB DESCRIPTIONParticipate in month-end closing by taking ownership of certain tasks, with a practical emphasis in accounting for a not-for-profit subsidiary. Collaborate with team members to provide financial reports. Create Journal Entries in the GL along with supporting schedules during the month related to daily activities, month end close and GL reconciliations. Listen to, learn from, and partner with members of various departments to present Better’s financial story. Take part in integrations between the ERP and additional software tools to modernize and scale key business units. Educate coworkers without a financial background regarding financial practices, implications, and policies. Provide ad hoc analysis support to business leaders and key partners and answer their accounting questions on an ongoing basis.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMaster’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related accounting or financial position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related accounting or financial position.SKILLS REQUIREMENTSExperience must include two (2) years with 1) Accounting; 2) Using Excel to combine large data sets, sumifs, index/match, and vlookups; and 3) Preparing journal entries and completing monthly accounting reconciliations.Background checks may be required.APPLICANT INSTRUCTIONS:To apply, submit resume by mail to recruitment@better.com.
