Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for small, medium, and large businesses. How will you make an impact in this role?

The Senior Manager of Product Analytics role will be responsible for supporting the performance reporting & analytics function for American Express’s Business Checking product line. The ideal candidate will be passionate about demonstrating a deep understanding of customer and product data to drive business performance. They should have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. This role will partner closely with the product team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business checking account product as well as the resulting data; Establish yourself as the go-to expert on product data and performance

  • Build strong relationships with the business to define product specific goals and key performance indicators, as well as indicators of success for product initiatives/engagements

  • Develop analytical insights and predictive models to identify areas of opportunity for growth, product engagement, retention, and cross product integration

  • Lead the end-to-end development of product reporting and dashboarding

  • Use data as inspiration to proactively shape the product roadmap and formulate solutions that drive performance and profitability.

  • Communicate conclusions, implications, and recommendations of analyses in a clear, concise fashion.

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure customer centricity across the end to end experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant professional experience including extensive experience in hands-on analytical role(s) analyzing customer data, using data to drive decisions, and influencing business strategies

  • Proficiency with one or more database querying tools (SQL, R, Python) is a must.

  • Extensive experience with analytical tools and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Databricks)

  • Strong curiosity and initiative in solving complex business analysis; dives deeply into the data, relentlessly pursues its meaning, and clearly articulates how these insights can drive business performance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain concepts and analytics-driven findings to non-technical partners, and to explain business processes, concepts, and issues to partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with banking data and/or in financial services

  • Experience in developing statistical models

Qualifications

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
