Senior Software Engineer II for Oscar Management Corporation (New York, NY). Lead multi-quarter project for optimizing architecture and data models to improve performance, scalability and usability. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or foreign equivalent and five years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related occupation. Experience must include building, improving and modifying software Infrastructure; Using a server side programming language including python, microservices/http/grpc, Databases (SQL / NoSQL), Kubernetes, and Kafka; Utilizing Agile/Scrum; and at least two years of experience Logging and Monitoring systems Splunk/Prometheus/Opentracing; and Utilizing Frontend technologies including HTML5 and CSS3.
