What you need to know about the role

A Checkout Product Commercialization Manager is responsible for the coordination and translation of product components from concept and strategy to monetizable products in PayPal's Checkout portfolio with their respective business partners. This includes working with Product, Finance, Marketing, Risk, Operations, Sales and Data to ensure successful adoption, performance, and scale of Checkout product lines and execution of cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate has exceptional analytical and communication skills as well as the desire and ability to drive projects forward by influencing cross-functional leaders.

Your way to impact:

We are looking for a world-class strategic thinker to join our Checkout Commercialization Team, focused on Branded XO. You will be working closely with leaders across PayPal to understand the nuances of our two-sided network products, determine how we can build a more robust ecosystem of products for our customers, and ultimately execute/build a more robust platform.

What do you need to bring:

  • Strategic thinking - full of ideas on how we can grow Branded Checkout.
  • Analytical - a love of numbers. While this is not a data job, fluency in Excel, building business cases, and an ability to clearly communicate analytical trends to executives is critical.
  • Operational rigor - data driven to drive end to end connectivity of Product ramp, roadmaps, and prioritization with investments and impacts
  • Collaborative nature - willingness to work with teams to deliver against shared objectives.
  • Highly flexible - able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
  • Experience with P&L management and Pricing Strategies - experience with analyzing trends, uncovering revenue opportunities and evolving pricing strategies are welcomed.
