To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding Vice President, Director in Project Management – an experienced Program Manager with a passion for collaboration, the creative process and emerging technologies to produce world-class campaigns for our clients. You’ll be responsible for the health and quality of a portfolio of brands, focusing on creative project management, end-to-end project workflow, delivery efficiency and quality, maintaining margin, and risk mitigation and resolution. As part of a bespoke multi-agency solution for a leading CPG company, you’ll build strong relationships across the Publicis Groupe network and within the client’s organization. As a Vice President, Director, you will not only help develop and execute the plans that allow our teams to create exciting work – you’ll also supervise and mentor a team of project managers and oversee large programs of work. What you’ll do

As a Vice President, Director on the Project Management Team, you will:

  • Structure and lead multi-million dollar marketing programs comprised of multi-disciplinary resources and parallel lines of business

  • Lead a team in management of multiple, concurrent, large-scale projects

  • Ensure profitability through monitoring of multi-brand roadmap, resource management, expense control and risk mitigation

  • Partner with Group Account Director and Account Directors to manage overall client relationship, and actively promote new ideas to enhance client’s business and grow revenue

  • Partner with Creative to effectively shepherd and manage the evolution of creative work, ensuring the highest quality at all points from concept through delivery

  • Build strong partnerships across teams and internal agencies with Integrated Media, Data and Analytics, Commerce, Public Relations, Brand Strategy, Social Media, Production, Finance, and Resource Management departments to ensure connections and collaborations happen where they should and always in support of client’s business goals

  • Provide solutions-oriented leadership with an expert ability to creatively solve complex problems with a positive, professional demeanor and a high degree of emotional intelligence

  • Manage multiple direct reports, set career and capability goals with them and mentor them into Project Management leaders

  • Enforce team compliance to high organizational standards and professionalism

  • Represent and advocate for the Project Management discipline with organization, agency, client and third-party leadership

  • Participate in team and cross-capability recruiting, interviewing and staffing

  • Attend training seminars and continuing education as offered

  • Participate in new business RFI or RFP requests when necessary

Day-to-day, your role includes:

  • Manage multi-channel engagements (TVC/OLV, digital, social, content partnerships, earned PR, online/offline activations, in-store/e-commerce, etc.)

  • Work with key organizational and client leadership to develop and instill processes, workflows and tools that support the profitable delivery of client work.

  • Be the go-to business partner for operational process development and implementation, organizational structure and design, and risk identification and mitigation

  • Maintain and enforce high standards of communications and documentation, including status and financial reports, timelines, scopes, change orders, burn reports and forecasting, best practices and asset management

  • Proactively manage, provide guidance, and develop clear communication standards around program and business-related risks, including mitigation planning and crisis management.

  • Engage and lead cross-functional teams though the FY planning process while merging it with overall creative and production timelines

  • Actively manage a portfolio of campaigns with interdependencies, in partnership with capability leads and Project Management team

  • Work with capability leads to understand business needs and helping identify and solve issues to meet business goals

  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver constructive feedback while outlining and facilitating development plans where needed

Qualifications

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

  • A four-year degree

  • 10-12 years of Program/Project Management related experience within a creative services organization that includes 5-7 years of experience managing a team of Project Managers at all levels

  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills

  • PMP and/or CSM Certification preferred but not required

  • Working knowledge of enterprise tools (JIRA, Microsoft Platform: SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
