Adecco is assisting one of the leading healthcare providers in the Bay Area in recruiting for a Patient Registration Outreach Representative in Newark, CA at one of their offices. This is a full-time opportunity with the hours being 8:30am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verifies insurance verifications and benefit determination.

  • Update patient account with correct payer plan type

  • Understands coordination of benefits (COB)

· Accurately create estimates for upcoming patient services.

· Interprets and documents the appropriate co-pay, deductible, share of cost, co-insurance, maximum benefit levels and/or available days.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent required

  • Preferred experience with Workqueue and/or EPIC

  • Two (2) years working knowledge of patient registration and insurance verification and authorization processes in a medical organization.

Pay range for this opportunity is $27 - $29 based on experience .

Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
