If so, then the position of Maintenance Repairman 2 is calling your name. We are searching for a motivated individual who is dedicated to keeping our park facilities in excellent working condition. By doing so, you will contribute to the overall safety and enjoyment of our park visitors, ensuring that they have a seamless and delightful experience while engaging in various recreational activities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out skilled journey level tasks across multiple trades involved in the maintenance, repair, and construction of park buildings, facilities, and equipment. This will include utilizing your expertise in various building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and masonry trades to ensure the proper construction, maintenance, and repair of park structures and equipment.

As part of your duties, you will be required to liaise with vendors under the guidance of your supervisor. This will involve contacting vendors to obtain price quotations for supplies and equipment, calculating the cost of these items, estimating the number of man-hours needed to complete assignments, and preparing necessary forms for review and approval by your supervisor.

Additionally, you will also be expected to take on a leadership role when working with Semi-Skilled Laborers, Laborers, volunteers, community service crews, and other personnel during project completion. Your experience and expertise will be crucial in guiding and supervising these individuals to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Overall, this position requires a high level of skill and knowledge in various trades, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and lead a team. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the park buildings, facilities, and equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for park visitors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment (37.5-hour work week) Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position performs in a seven (7) day a week operation and may be scheduled to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities. Special Requirement:

This position will require possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
