Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 1 to join our food service team for new business at White Horse Village in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania . This premier continuing care retirement community is located in the countryside of southeastern Pennsylvania and provides residents a new standard in retirement living with abundant amenities, exceptional wellness programs, delicious food, and excellent facilities. We are seeking a talented individual who has strong customer service skills and will be hands-on with training and mentoring staff. This Food Operations Manager will oversee the dining operations for our skilled care and personal care residents. Prior food service experience in a senior living / healthcare environment is needed. Must have knowledge of safety and sanitation, Dept. of Health regulations.

The successful candidate will:

• have oversight of 4 satellite kitchen pantries serving personal care and skilled care residents;

• successfully coordinate all required tasks through supervisors and frontline staff;

• deliver high quality food services;

• achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

• develop and maintain client and resident satisfaction;

• ensure Sodexo standards are met.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
