Responsibilities You will provide logistics oversight and Life Cycle Managment for technical issues regarding the twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements. You will provide leadership, oversight and guidance on all logistics aspects of assigned projects/programs. You will perform regular reviews for the project/program manager and develop briefs or reports to customers and users. You will resolve technical or procedural issues based on system readiness and life cycle cost data analysis. You will provide input to program management in support of managing cost, schedule and product support performance. You will analyze program requirements, provide support solutions, develop acquisition and logistics documentation, assist in life cycle cost analysis, material/ obsolescence management, and review program technical/readiness data. You will interpret configuration management activities and tools, working with the configuration manager for projects and suggesting alternative revisions, assisting in implementation of new strategies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing acquisition and sustainment logistics support for Marine Corps communication and electronic systems to include coordinating and managing the development of logistics support packages. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
