Philips Sales, Indirect Channel Manager -Hospital Patient Monitoring (Remote) in Norfolk, Virginia

Indirect Channel Manager – Clinical Applications and Devices.

As the Indirect Channel Manager for Clinical Applications and Devices, you will drive business growth by developing and expanding distribution channels for consumables and sensors, working closely with clinical partners, distributors, and internal teams to implement strategic go-to-market initiatives.

Your role:

  • Role and Greater Impact: The Indirect Channel Manager will be pivotal in developing and expanding distribution channels for clinical applications and devices, focusing on consumables and sensors. By implementing strategic initiatives, this role will enhance market reach, drive business growth, and ensure the successful execution of go-to-market (G2M) strategies.

  • Team and Stakeholders: This role involves close collaboration with clinical partners, major distributors, and internal stakeholders, including marketing and sales teams. Key responsibilities include managing relationships with major partners, establishing clinical partnership agreements, and working with internal teams to align partnership strategies with business goals.

  • Professional and Personal Development Opportunities: The position offers extensive professional growth through the development and execution of partnership strategies, contract management, and distribution network optimization. Personal development is supported by continuous learning and collaboration. The role will involve travel within North America to meet with partners and explore new distribution opportunities, providing exposure to various markets and innovative distribution networks.

You're the right fit if:

  • Experience: You’ve acquired 10+ years of experience in business development or sales within the healthcare and medical supplies and sensors. This role requires an individual contributor with a proven track record of managing channel partners and driving revenue growth.

  • Skills: Your skills include expertise in partner relationship management, proposal development, contract negotiation, and performance analysis. Proficiency in CRM software and advanced Excel skills are essential. Bonus skills include experience with commercial innovation and co-creation methods.

  • Education: You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.

  • Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental Requirements: You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position:

  • Physical: Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; occasional travel may be required.

  • Cognitive: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Environmental: Work primarily in an office setting; travel to partner sites and industry events as needed.

  • Interpersonal Skills: You’re an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders. Willingness to travel for partner meetings and industry events is essential.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $204,000 to $288,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
