0 Class B CDL Driver 1st shift: 6:00AM-2:30PM North Canton, Ohio $22.50-$29.79 Internal Application Deadline 02/21/2025 Yarde Metals is seeking a dedicated Class B CDL Driver to join our fleet and operations team in North Canton, OH. In this role, you will safely and efficiently transport a variety of metal materials while ensuring top-tier service and compliance with safety regulations. Why Join Yarde Metals? Responsibilities: Safely operate a commercial truck to deliver materials on time. Follow DOT/FMSCA regulations and company safety standards Inspect loads to verify material condition and quantities. Report any overages, shortages, or damaged goods. Properly secure loads and ensure compliance with weight limits. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain a clean driving record and professional demeanor. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements: Valid Class B CDL and current medical card. Minimum 6 months of driving experience (strongly preferred). Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to operate a manual transmission. Capable of meeting physical demands of the job, including lifting requirements. Strong commitment to safety and customer service. Willingness to work required overtime. Adaptability to unexpected road conditions (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
