Job Title: Aerospace Production Assembler
Job Type: Full time; Consultant ( 6 months)
Location: North Charleston, SC 29418
Schedule: Monday to Friday; Shifts: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Contractors must be available to work all 3 shifts. Shifts are dependent on Business needs.
Pay Rate: $26.82 per hour
Job Description:
As an Aerospace Production Assembler, you will play a key role in the assembly of structural and mechanical components for aircraft systems. Your responsibilities will include using manual operations and specialized tools to perform routine and complex assembly tasks. You'll work in a production environment, following technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex production assembly operations on aerospace structural and mechanical components.
Utilize computer systems to access and comprehend technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Apply sealants and install various aircraft system components according to specifications.
Operate mechanical lifts and a variety of tools including rivet guns, screwdrivers, and power tools.
Adhere to high standards of safety and regulatory compliance, including the use of appropriate protective equipment.
Inspect work for quality and ensure compliance with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards.
Work in confined spaces and use respirators as necessary.
Handle physical demands, including lifting up to 10-35 pounds and performing various physical activities (climbing, crawling, kneeling, etc.).
Qualifications:
Minimum 1+ year of aviation or technical school experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with CAD/3D drawing programs and Internet Explorer is a plus.
Ability to interpret detailed written and verbal work instructions and processes effectively.
Strong communication skills, work ethic, and a sense of urgency to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on business needs and handle high hazard chemicals.

Pay Details: $26.82 per hour
