Job Title: Aviation Systems Assembler
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (12 months)
Location: North Charleston, SC 29418
Schedule: Monday to Friday; Shifts: These positions are variable shifts, contractors must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Shift dependent on business need.
Pay Rate: $26.82 per hour
What You’ll Do:
Production Assembly: Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations.
Aerospace Systems Expertise: Work with hydraulic, ICS, PECS, duct installation, IFE, interior decorative repair, waste, and potable water systems.
Component Installation: Select correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware. Install, fit, fasten, align, and adjust components to accomplish the installation of structural components.
Quality Assurance: Report job constraints, perform repairs, rework, functional checks, and incorporate authorized changes. Maintain exemplary housekeeping and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards.
Blueprint Reading: Read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematics, engineering dispositions, and instructions.
Safety Compliance: Be safety conscious; use safety glasses, safety harnesses, respirators, boot socks, and other pertinent safety equipment 100% of the time.
Physical Requirements: Lift up to 25 pounds, bend and twist at the waist, walk, crawl, crouch, stand for long periods, kneel, reach, climb/balance, and perform frequent overhead work.
What You Bring:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical manufacturing and/or aviation. Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong effective communication skills, work ethic, and a sense of urgency in completing tasks.
Education: GED / High School Diploma.
Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain training certifications as required.
Physical Abilities: Ability to work in elevated and/or confined spaces, perform frequent overhead work, and handle hazardous materials safely.

Pay Details: $26.82 per hour
