R. W. Beckett Corp. Production Worker in North Ridgeville, Ohio

R.W. Beckett Corporation, a leading manufacturer of heating and energy related equipment, is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our production team in North Ridgeville, OH to help assemble mechanical units and/or parts using hand and light power tools. Successful candidates will possess a strong work ethic with the ability to understand production drawings and work instructions, both written and verbal.  Candidates must also have good manual dexterity with the desire & ability to work as part of a fast-paced team.  Previous assembly experience a plus but not required. A knowledge of quality practices and LEAN Manufacturing principles is strongly preferred, but not required. 

 

Schedule is 5:50am-4:20pm Monday-Thursday with seasonal overtime as needed on Fridays 5:50am-4:20pm and Saturday 5:50am-11:30am.  Candidates must show ability to arrive on time and regularly to their position included any mandatory seasonal overtime.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, fabricate, gauge and/or adjust parts and/or components to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.
  • Properly identifies materials for use in assembly/fabrication operations.
  • Safely transports and handles raw materials and finished goods.
  • Reads, interprets and utilizes work instructions and engineering specifications to build quality products.
  • Process components or finished goods using appropriate containers/packaging and labels to ensure safe and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Repairs units, structures, and products that fail to meet requirements.
