Plan, direct, or coordinate the management or operations of farms or other agricultural establishments. Supervise up to four (4) farm laborers and equipment operators to ensure daily crop and equipment-related activities are successfully and efficiently performed. Oversee maintenance schedule (oil, filter, worn part replacements) for each piece of equipment. Direct crop production operations, such as planning, tilling, planting, fertilizing, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting. Monitor activities, such as irrigation, chemical application, harvesting. Conduct inspections to determine crop maturity or condition or to detect disease or insect infestation. Engage in or supervise planting, cultivating, harvesting activities. Keep combines running at capacity, oversee transportation of grain from field to grain bins, keep records of grain moisture in each bin, and set up a drying schedule. Ensure grain pumps are running at capacity and keep track of all delivery receipts. Must haveBachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field or foreign equivalent of bachelors degree in Agriculture or related field, ref #181361. EOE*
