THE POSITION

The Junior Project Engineer will join the Global Facilities and Engineering Team of our strategic production site in Noventa Padovana (PD) and will report to the CAPex Engineer. In this position you will be responsible for few projects related to engineering issues and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, improvement and investment projects (CAPex). You will ensure the application of user requirements, implementation of good engineering practices and implementation of local technological strategy for equipment, systems, technical infrastructures and technical support. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and pharmaceutical regulations (GMP and non-GMP) and deliver the new/or updated installation to the operations team and follow up on potential issues during the ramp up process.

For this role we offer a fixed term contract of 2 years.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Drive execution of process engineering Capex, with strong focus on standardization, robustness, harmonization of ways of working and systematic approach also in the Asset management life cycle

• Write technical specification/URS for new systems in line with Safety, Enviromental and Global Engineering standards

• Accountable for response to process engineering observation and gaps from Regulatory/ Agency inspection Audit, integration/remediation programs and all initiatives to improve compliance level (GMP and HSE)

• Follow the commissioning in new project and assuring the correct handover to the maintenance and production teams

• Responsible for Capex Execution and Business Applications budgeting, forecasting and cost control.

• Collect and manage the technical documentation and files, as manuals and drawings, assuring the correctness of drawings and manage the changes needed

• Ensure highest construction safety standards into working yards and leading a cultural approach in terms of safety and behaviors.

• Provide support to keep local technologies update and compliant considering a good balance between costs, benefits and global and corporate standards

• Correctly apply the environmental and safety procedures and regulations, the Corporate ' s guidelines and company manuals in the design, construction and testing of new structures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering

• 2 years of experience gained within pharmaceutical companies or engineering consultancies, with a focus on pharmaceutical companies

• Strong knowledge of Office Package, Autocad, Project Engineering, SAP PM; GxP rules is a plus

• Native Italian and good knowledge of English

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and execution skills to achieve business priorities

• Able to negotiate with stakeholders, handling conflicting needs and demands, with a strong focus on delivery

• Good communications skill, ability to work in team, business acumen.
