The Project Coordinator reports to the Project Manager. The Coordinator role is focused on providing superior support to the MARTIN Technician Team(s) and Customer Engineering Team(s). This role requires strict adherence to established process and documentation. Success in this role requires the willingness to collaborate, work closely with the team, and learn all aspects of the project(s). Flexibility to lean in as needed, where needed is the core attribute of the Project Coordinator position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and Coordination
Plan and coordinate all aspects of vehicle processing projects from initiation to completion
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
Support internal program team members as needed
Contribute to business development initiatives
Documentation and Reporting:
Timely maintain accurate project documentation and distribute as required
Generate interval project status reports for internal and external stakeholders
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards in vehicle processing deliverables
Conduct inspections and audits to proactively identify opportunities for improvement
Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project related inquiries
Collaboration with internal team members and customers
Facilitate effective communication between internal team and external partners
Lead daily team standup meetings
Timeline Management:
Develop and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Proactively identify and address potential delays or issues and develop mitigation strategies
Resource Allocation:
Work closely with the project team to allocate personnel as needed to meet program requirements
Optimize facility resource utilization to meet project objectives and timing
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience in project coordination or management in automotive or related industry
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Proven effective team leadership experience
Focus on safety, safe work practices, workplace organization, 5S
General knowledge of automotive systems
General knowledge of automotive processing tools and equipment
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance
Computer and software skills inclusive of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive
Demonstrated efficiency in accurate project tracking and documentation
Desire to provide team leadership
Focus on team support, positive solutions, continuous improvement
Experience with Bill of Materials, Process Documents, Inventory Tracking, Inspection, Specification data
Prior experience in a Tier 1 or OEM environment is strongly desired
